The last line in the movie "Son of God" was truly one to ignite a desire within us once again to pick up the mantle and get going with what we have to do for God. 'We have work to do' is what Peter told the followers of Christ in the last scene as Jesus told them He was coming soon and ascended into the heavens! My insides begun to tremble as excitement built within me. His love for us was revealed in new measure and I couldn't wait to tell someone about Jesus!
The gospel is the good news that we heard that caused us to walk out of darkness and dwell in His eminent light! Now, it is our responsibility to share His Word, His principles, His nature with everyone we come in contact with so they too can have an opportunity to live in success and refuse defeat! Christians, lets DO our work for our Father! He is coming soon!

I most definitely agree. The impact of the last line in the film was truly immeasurable and speaks volumes. I myself felt chills run through my body and as a young man to enter Ministry in the near future, excitement also emerged within me, to look forward the the journey ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly an honour to share the God's Word and as the scripture says in (Romans 1:16) "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes."
The movie "Son of God' is without a doubt the most powerful movie for 2014 and one of the most heartfelt movies made.
